The original bell from Spurcycle is amazing! The bell is much smaller than other bike bells I’ve used but the sound is loud, clear and resonates. Other cyclists and pedestrians seemed to respond quickly when hearing my bell without being startled as can happen with the loud electronic bells. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I previously cheaped out on bells for my bike, and after multiple rides where I tried to ring the bell only to get a dull thud I decided it was time to upgrade. This bell rings super clearly without a lot of effort, and has a pleasant sound.

Shockingly good

Shockingly good. My wife and I recently moved to a small town and decided to get cruisers. We bought the Spurcycle original and Knog Oi Luxe. My wife isn’t even a gear person at all but in comparison she wasn’t having anything to do with the Oi. I’m gonna power through with what I have but in hindsight I wouldn’t consider anything other than the Spurcycle Original

Took me four years to buy this bell.

After reading the reviews, and a single test ding another bicyclist allowed me, I finally decided to buy one. I really like it.

The decay of the ring is very long. Ring the bell twenty feet behind folks walking on the path that your are going to pass, there is still some ring left as you pass them.

The mounting system just works. The skinny little band that holds the bell allows very tight integration with other handlebar gear.

My buddies Dad who I often ride with laughed at me for spending $60 on a bike bell. I bet he will buy one someday! :-)
